| By BRIAN M. CARNEY - SEPTEMBER 3, 2011 - The Wall Street Journal.Yes, says Nestle's chairman Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, but not if we burn food for fuel, fear genetic advances and fail to charge for water. Great article, but I still have two problems with it ! One - It does not tell about the dangers of possible miss use of the GM, for example the killer seeds of Monsanto (killer seeds = unfertilized seeds that give the farmers only one crop and they are forced to buy new grain because they can not use part of the grain to grow a new crop - it is made infertile with the use of GM) or to grow a crop that can withstand so much insecticide that it become poisonous for human consumption. Two - The article does not point to ways the overpopulation can and should be stopped !Ak Malten, Pro Peaceful Energy Use Can the World Still Feed Itself? | |
